オリジナルはVerveレーベル、ノーマン・グランツのプロデュース作品。
豪華メンバーのビッグバンドを従えてライヴならではのパフォーマンスを見せる。
若き日のリー・モーガン、ベニー・ゴルソン、ウイントン・ケリー等が参加。
同コンサートからの1曲がボーナストラックとして追加。
